Saadiya Aliyu-Aminu a mother, a wife and boss lady was raised in a small town in Northern Nigeria. Only in her 30s, she’s ascended to COO of the Real Estate Empire that is Urban Shelter LTD. Saadiya attended secondary school in Sussex, London. She went on to obtain a degree in Economics from Brunel University and ultimately a Masters in Finance and Development from University Collage London – School of Orient and African Studies.
She started her career in debt management office Nigeria, where she worked under Dr. Mansur Muktar who later became the minister of finance. There she learnt a great deal about leadership, management and integrity. In the beginning, Saadiya was passionate about poverty alleviation and developmental issues which affects countries like Nigeria that are considered third world countries. However, Saadiya found herself back in the family business. Which led her to a different path, one with much success and triumph in career.
Saadiya shared with me a great deal about how she made her way up the career ladder, through hard work, motivation and dedication. As well as more in-depth look at how to get to the top and stay there, which will be published in my Coffee Table Book #ComingSoon
